We added a user on Friday and didnt get any error messages, however I suspect there were domain controller issues at the time of the add...now we can not find the user in Unity. We have tried to find in SA, SQL and Doh and used DB walker, etc...no trace of the user. However, when we try to add the user (who is in Active Directory and has been able to log on today and use email), Unity does not find this user. We have tried using the SA add user and the import tool, Unity sees all other accounts except this one...also event log is logging errors for her account:
Av_Notifier_MC
Event ID 1046
Failed to set MWI lamp for user XXXXX
Reason: load from DoH Failed
I will be opening a TAC ticket very soon but would appreciate your thoughts. I know this product is EOL and we are planning the upgrade soon. Thanks.

They're probably tagged as a Unity subscriber in the directory so it wont let you import them again. You can use the "Remove Subscriber Properties" tool to clean them - if you're really on 3.0(1) (wow - that is a majorly old version - are you _sure_ that's the version you're on?) you'll need to download it from its home page here:

Try removing the unity properties with "Remove Subscriber Properties" tool.

Thanks for the quick response to both...yes, I am sure of the version, I know its really old, its the last one left on our network and will be upgraded soon.
I wasnt able to run the remove sub properties due to an error with the tool (another issue no doubt)..but was able to go into ADSI edit and clear the ecsbu properties and everthing is fine now..
Thanks again, I really appreciate the quick feedback.
