Unity after reboot won't work.

Unity 404 is member server with offbox exchange and DC, and CCM 412SR1. Unity is licensed 32 ports since I only need 16 so I configured 16 ports on CCM and unity. It's running fine but everytime after I reboot unity server, caller just hear ring either from internal or external, it won't reach unity greeting or mailbox. I look at the voice port registration status on CCM, sometimes 1 or 2 ports not registered. All the unity service are up. I have to reboot ccm and unity again , unity then will work. But this time even reboot both, unity still not work. Anybody has this kind of experience?

It may be possible that you are running in to this defect in which an ES35 is available for Unity 4.0(4)

MIU - Exceptions after Unity srvr reboot causes calls no ans.

If the phone is ringing (no getting reorder tone) it means that the call it probably being extended to Unity but I wouldn't be able to say for sure without CCM and Unity TSP traces. You would probably open a TAC case to get the issue resolved.

Thanks,

is this after a CM upgrade? have you ran the TSP plugin on Unity?

I'm not sure if you're talking about the CallManager TSP but it should not ever be installed on Unity. Only the Unity TSP should be installed on Unity.

Thanks,

Keith
