I am setting up a new call handler, and when I dial it, it goes straight to voicemail. I have set up the CTI route, and the handler looks normal. However the standard greeting is sending it straight to voicemail, which an account does not exist for the handler. Any thoughts?

The default action is to take a message, and it is sent to the undeliverable DL. I don't see where the problem is.
It doesn't even sound like you have recorded the standard greeting if you get the "Sorry XX is not available."
If you want any other behavior, you need to configure it, have you configured it????

Are you sure you're hitting the right CH???
What's the after greeting action??

It is definitely hitting the call handler because the automated voice says the name of the caller handler, which is different than the name of the CTI route. When you call the call handler, you get the computer voice, which says "Sorry, "Call Handler Name" is not available. Record your message at the tone....(etc)" It leets you record a message, but as far as I know, its not actually able to be delivered anywhere.

You were right. I just recorded the standard greeting and now it seems to be functioning correctly. I didn't think to press any buttons when it said that the Call handler was not available. I've learned something.
