Unity Connection 8.5 integration with Exchange without VMO

I want to know how integrate the Unity Connection 8.5 with Exchange 2007, i need only send the voice message to email like .wav files, but i dont want to use VMO. I have configured the Exchange IP address like SMTP smart host and in the users message actions page selected answer and replay for voice messages in addition to configure the email account for the user, but this is not working. Someone can guide me in this installation or share configuration guides for this.

You should set this up as a Unified Messaging configuration.  This is pretty easy to facilitate with Exchange 2007 and you do not have to use VMO to do a UM configuration with Unity Connection.  In fact, many of my customers do not use VMO.  You will; however, want to get the SMTP relay portion of this (which is what you've been focusing on thus far according to the information) working so that you can effectively exchange messages between Exchange and Unity Connection.  Here are some links you should read up on:

Thank you David I have read your post before to put this discussion here and yesterdar i fixed the problem with your indications, i only has problems with the permissions in the exchange but the email administrator fixed that and everything is working now, thanks for you reply.
