Hi All,
One of my customer decided to use new dial-plan (new deployment) and we configured all phones to use the new extensions. But some of the managers still need to be reachable from AA if someone called the company and dialed the old extension.
Can I configure Alternate Ext to do this?
If I added the alternate ext and someone dial the new extension, in this case how UC will forward the number to CUCM??

3 ways to achieve this, as I can think of now, might be many more ways..
1. Do a Call Fordward All on old DN to new DN.
2. Use a translation pattern which translates the old DN to new DN.
3. Configure any one of the phone line with an old DN.

Hi
I am thinking about Unity Connection not CUCM.
Can I use different number of digits in Unity Connection?
The old extension is 4 digits, while the new extension is 5 digits.
