i'm having a problem getting unity connection to perform a supervised transfer. it is performing a release to switch even if i select supervised transfer.

In the Set Up Port Group Page do you have the Server Type set to "Cisco Unified CallManager Express"?
Worth checking because that is a commonly missed setting that will have a direct impact on transfers.
