I am trying to find a User Role which give access for a user to reset user Passwords/PINs.
The Helpdesk Admin role is described to do this, but it seems to give much more access than just passwords.
With this role I can view Call Handlers and listen to users Greetings, and so on.
I created a Custom Role and gave it only the Role Privilege of ‘Reset User Passwords’.
I tried this on Unity Connections version 11.5 SU1 and it does not seem to give any privileges.
Upon logging in, it says, ‘Not Authorized’ and I can’t see or do anything.
I tried the same thing with version 12.5 SU5, and it seems to give the same privilege as the Helpdesk Admin.
I can see Handlers and listen to Greetings, etc.
Does anyone know a way to assign privileges to a user so they can only reset PINs for user accounts, but see nothing else?
