Cisco Unity Connection is Now Available
Cisco Unity Connection, the latest addition to the Cisco Messaging Portfolio, is now orderable and available.
Cisco Unity Connection combines integrated messaging, speech recognition, and call-routing rules into an easy-to-manage system for organizations with up to 1500 users. It transparently integrates messaging and speech components with your data network to provide continuous global access to calls and messages. These advanced communications services take advantage of the converged network, allowing you to use voice commands to place calls or listen to messages in hands-free mode and use a computer to check voice messages from your e-mail inbox or through a Web browser. Comprehensive automated-attendant functions include intelligent routing and customizable call-screening and message-notification options.
Cisco Unity Connections intuitive browser-based system-administration interface is designed to dramatically simplify the installation, support, and ongoing management of your system, ultimately lowering the total cost of ownership. Cisco Unity Connection is ideal for single-site or centralized, non-networked deployments. It provides desktop messaging through Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP) and does not require Microsoft Exchange experience for voicemail administration and maintenance.

Will this product replace CUE? It seems to fill all the voids that CUE has.

No - Connection is it's own line, no plans for it to replace anything that I know of - I'm also asked if it'll replace Unity: no, that's not the case either.
