Unity Connection SMTP Notification

Hi:

Customer want a function that when there is a new voicemail, he want to receive a e-mail from their mail server (not from VM server). I check administrator guide of Unity Connection,but it is for text pager,not SMTP server.Any one can confirm that this function can be implement?thanks.

The text pager is just an SMTP notification - it sends a text message to an SMTP address - nothing special about it. "text pager" is just the common name it's been given.

You can also check out the Cisco Unity Inbox Notification (this device shows up as "Text for Cisco Unity Inbox") as an option - this is nice because it includes a URL link to the user's inbox in the notification so they can jump right to it if you're using the Unity Inbox feature (licensed seperately):
