New spin on the SAN question here. I assume that moving Unity data (i.e. SQL, \commserver, etc.) to a SAN drive is probably not supported. I also understand that the value in doing this as a sort of system backup measure may be somewhat limited, and that a system could be more easily restored from a dirt dump.
Have a customer who is heavily committed to SAN technology and is very interested in doing this nonetheless, any feel for whether the BU would support this approach?
