Unity Express GUI or Call Manager Express with MAC OS

Should the GUIs of Unity Express and Call Manager Express work on a MAC OS machine? My customer has Internet Explorer on the MAC machine.

The Unity Express Admin guide for the GUI says:

"The GUI and CLI are accessible from a PC or server anywhere in the IP network. To access the GUI, use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or a later release. Cisco Unity Express does not support any other browser."

The Admin Guide of the CCME says:

"The web browser that you use to access the GUI must be Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or a later

version. No other type of browser can be used to access the GUI".

Anybody made it work? I seemed to have problems. Is there a minimum Java version required?

Thanks for the help

I'm not as familiar with CME, but with CUE, no other browser is supported--as the docs say, but from my experience it seems to work fine from a Mac (either firefox or safari) except for actions that involve uploading or downloading things (custom scripts, prompts, etc).
