Hello,
I have configured Unity with failover and all seems to be working well. I have a question concerning the Unity Messaging System accoun, this account as I understand it is responsible for routing outside callers to VM boxes. We have two accounts:
Unity_UNITYU1 and Unity_UNITYU2
UNITYU1 is the primary server and Unity_UNITYU2 is the failover or secondary server.
I see both accounts in active directory and each of them has a mailbox in the mailstore. However, when I run a DohProp test only the Unity_UNITYU1 shows up in the UnityDB. Is this a problem? Should Unity_UNITYU2 be in this database? Failover works fine and outside calls seem to be routing to VM properly.
thanks in advance!
Rick

With failover Unity only uses a single system mailbox. You can delete the Unity_UNITYU2 AD user/mailbox without issue.
Thanks,
Keith
