Hello All,
The support community has been very good in guiding me towards solutions to problems that have come up in the past few weeks. Here is a fairly easy one?
Problem:
The end user is in location A with their voice mailbox on Unity server A. Their phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.
The end user sometimes offices out of location B with their phone number being YYY-YYY-YYYY.
When there is a call to the end user while they are in location B, if the end user wants voice messages left in the location A voice mailbox.
Moving the voice mailbox is not an option.
I can offer as a work around to have YYY-YYY-YYYY RNA foward to XXX-XXX-XXXX or I can have YYY-YYY-YYYY RNA forward to their cell phone.
Can this be done without forwarding YYY-YYY-YYYY RNA to XXX-XXX-XXXX?
Can this be done and also allow the MWI to display on the location B phone?
As always, thanks to the community for the assistance and guidance. Feel free to let me know if more information is needed.

You can simply configure the other DN as an alternate extension for the userin unity.
Call to either number will be reach the same subscriber, and have the same features.

Thank you for your input Jaime,
By placing the location B phone number as an alternate extension on the location A voice mailbox, will the MWI function work on the phone in location B when a voice message is left?
Our Unity is tied to Exchange, so when a voice message is left, a notification shows up in the users Outlook as well, so I suspect that will be the case.
Respectfully,
Melvin

This only relates to the phone, MWI, that you will reach the same mailbox when you hit messages fom the other phone, and that anyone who reaches either DN and goes to VM, will end up in the same mailbox
The doc is quite old, but the info is still valid in any release.
