We have 4 ECS 7845 servers. We are building 3 unity servers and wish to build the 4th server as a DC (dc only , no unity) - is that possible with the Unity platform CD's for windows ? will we be legitimately licensed for windows and what about general DC functionality ?
Unity Server can promote to Domain Controller with Unity platform CD. This option is available if Unity set up as voicemail message, not unify messaging. As for license valid or not, may be Cisco TAC can provide a better answer on that.
