Voicemail only Unity 4.0

In this situation, when using the bulk import wizard am i only concerned with the vm-BStevens alias?

Cisco Unity Voice Messaging is installed into an existing Active Directory structure with user mailboxes stored on existing Exchange server(s). Voice messaging users will have secondary mailboxes on the existing Exchange servers that are reserved for voice messages only. These mailboxes will have the prefix "vm-" (for example, vm-BStevens) that distinguishes them from their primary Exchange mailboxes. (The "vm" represents voice messaging only accounts.) Voice messaging mailboxes will be hidden from the corporate directory to ensure that only voice messages are delivered to those mailboxes.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here - but I think the answer is yes. If the Unity server is going to be handling voice mail only and you want those users hidden then you'll want CUBI to only be importing users who's aliases (in your case) that start with "vm-".

What is the best/easiest way to bulk import a bunch of voicemail only users (they need to be hidden in Exchange GAL). Would it be to create them hidden in Exchange using CSV, then import from GAL to Unity? Or is there a flag in Unity to create the user hidden?

There's no flag to create them hidden but after you create them you can use BulkEdit to flip their "hide subscriber in e-mail address book" property on the profile tab... that's probably the easiest way to go about this.
