When you have one box that has multiple users that can access it, is there a way to limit the access to the box to one user at a time? I can't find where or if this is even an option to do.

Hi Chris,
Are you using Unity or Unity Connection? Can you also specify the version?
I doubt there is any such way to prevent simultaneous access to a mailbox, but I can double check it for you.
HTH!!!

Cisco Unity 7.0
Never been asked this before, but wanted to check to see if that is an option... don't think so, but still wanted to ask.
Thanks, Chris

Just confirmed that it is not supported.
Refer to the following thread:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/312369
Jeff Lindborg says:
"Neither Unity or Connection are designed for multiple users accessing the same mailbox at the same time - neither system "locks" mailboxes so you will always have windows for those types of issues (i.e. someone marks a message read right before another user goes to hear it). This is not a supported scenario in either product line and never has been."
Hope that helps.

Hi Chris,
There's no way to limit concurrent mailbox access.
