B200-M4 - Can't mount CD via KVM

Hi Guys ,

We got 5 new B200-M4 blades [see the screenshot attached , it got SSD HDD]

and everytime i'm trying to ,mount CD/DVD , it said "the selected device could not be mapped"

I tried all the available options in the Boot Order Policy for CD/DVD mounts .....

What should be the option ??

[BTW - once I succeeded with 1 blade to boot the ESXi installation , but thewn i wasn't able to see the HDD in order to install on it ]

So to conclusion , 2 questions :

1. what should be the option i need to choose in Boot Order , to be able to map CD/DVD from KVM ?

2. what should i do in order the OS will be able to see the HDD ?....

Hi again , I managed to solve it .

a very strange issue .

no matter what i did , i got this error , but then , when i tried to mount some other ISO , it succeed .

So , i moved to ISO i needed to another folder ,and then tried to mount it , and it worked !!!

don't have any clue why  but that's what worked !

thanks anyway :]

Probably due to unexpected folder name + unexpected iso name killed it.

I saw case the iso failed mapping and reported "dislike the folder name" when uploading license files, solved by making a normal name (e.g. c:\iso) solved it

If you want you can try to rename the iso to a shorter, normal name and try it again in the original folder.

thanks ! will check it when we'll get more blades

thanks all

Hi Ron

Do I understand you correctly ? You didn't yet install the OS on the SSD ?

Yes , you write .

But , take a look on my comment . I managed to solve it [maybe it's some bug..]
