Hi Everyone,
I searched the forums before posting and didnt see anyone asking a similar question. I've installed ESXi 5.0 Update 1 on two new UCS C210 M2 servers. I used the iso that you can readily download on VMWare.com. I did notice though that there is a VMWare utilities disk available for download on Cisco.com. How do I add in the Cisco Utilities to ESXi? I appologize, but this is the first time I've ever used a UCS server. I've installed ESXi on lots of other platforms, but not one of these.
Thanks,
John

Hello John,
The utilities image contains tools ( example MegaCLI ) for third party adapters ( LSI , Qlogic) supported on UCS servers.
Based upon type of adapter installed on the server and if there is a requirement for adapter specific tool, then you can download the image and extract it by mounting ISO.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I've downloaded the latest ISO in case we end up needing it.
