HyperFlex 3.0(1i) - Errors found during Cluster Creation

Hi,

I get the following error at the end of the installation, probe with version 4.0 and 3.2 of HX-DataPlatform with vCenter Server 6.5

"Failure occurred during create_cluster process: Some(StException(InternalError,None,None,Some(getClusterLocalizableMessage(Operation did not complete in expected time and maybe executing in the background.,None,None,Operation did not complete in expected time and maybe executing in the background.,ArrayBuffer())),None,None,Error,None))"

You didn't say how many times you'd tried pressing the Retry Cluster creation button, so I'm going to ask the obvious question:

"Did you try pressing the Retry Cluster creation button? If so, how many times?"

I've done about 8 installs (enough to be loosig count) and on most of those I've had to retry some part of the configuration at least once, but never more than three times except when there was a serious network error that meant communication with vCenter failed periodically.

I suspect it is just a timing thing - and you are using SED drives which make the install that bit more complicated.

So my advice is to hit the Retry Cluster creation button at least three times, and if the install won't progress, raise a TAC case.
