Hi all,
On our 6248UP based UCS systems i have ipv4 multicast snooping set up and that has been working for a long time now.
Now i need to do the same for ipv6 multicast, but i cant find any info about this.
is ipv6 multicast even supported ?
All info is welcome !

I searched through a tech support from a 4.13 LAB domain for 6248, and didn't see any config blocks for that.
The only reference to IPV6 multicast is:
`show cfs status`
Distribution : Enabled
Distribution over IP : Enabled - mode IPv4
IPv4 multicast address : 239.255.70.83
IPv6 multicast address : ff15::efff:4653
Distribution over Ethernet : Enabled
`show cfs internal event-history errors`
`show cfs internal event-history msgs`

Hi Kirk,
Thanks for checking this !
In the UCSmanager UI, under Lan-Policies-Multicast policies there is no mention of ipv6 (i am on 4.21f)
So does this mean that ipv6 MLD is simply not supported ?
If i send out ipv6 multicast it is indeed flooded to all hosts in the vlan and that is a showstopper for us
Any idea if this is on the roadmap ? (or where i can find the roadmap ?)
Thanks again !

I haven't found much mention of IPV6 MLD snooping in UCSM context, so I'm guessing it's not on the radar.
I suggest you open a TAC case officially requesting info on the IPV6 MLD snooping, and they can open an enhancement request for the UCSM.
