I have a question in regards to Bios polices. My current config I have one vSphere bios policy that we have applied to M4, M5 and now upcoming M6 blades. Im reading over the M6 best practices and see there are many tunable options. When I look over my current BIOS policy used in my template. Every single option is just set to Platform Default.

From that link above it list many items under platform default for instance
Intel Hyper-Threading Technology | Enabled | Enabled and Disabled |
Does that mean in my policy if its already set to Platform Default that option is enabled or do I need to go into that Bios Policy setting and change from Platform Default to Enabled
Like wise for memory RAS config. The doc says to enable ADDC but has it under platform default. Our current policy is just set to platform default. Should it be directly changed from Platform default to ADDC?
I dont mind creating a new template im just wondering why all of our current config is set to platform default. Our vendor that deployed our current config made no changes it seems or is platform default option the way to go.
