migrate blades from one UCS Domain

We have to Mirgrate two Blades with local Disks (Boot + Data) to another UCS Domain. I know that there might be troubles with the NICs aso. But the most thing we are worried about is the data on the local disks and if the Blades will boot on the new domain. I know that we need to pay attention on the scrub policy, that no scrub policy is configured. But is there anything else to be considered?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Greetings.

Make sure your current service profile/local disk policy has the 'protect Configuration' checked, which writes a signature on the physical disks & VD.

For your new service profiles where the blades will be migrated to, you can always set the local disk policy to 'any config', which means it will just accept the raid volume/config as it exists.

Thanks,

Kirk...
