Anyone using Proxmox virtual environment on Cisco UCS currently?

I have a customer seriously want to purchase UCS C/X Series and the same time their server team is seriously considering moving from VMware to Proxmox...But what is the compatibility between UCS and Proxmox virtual environment?

I did a search in the community as well as google/AI but did not find anything useful...Any suggestion/advice?

That's possible.
If TAC gives you push back when running Proxmox, then tell TAC to rope me (Steven Tardy (sttardy)) into the conversation.
I'll help isolate if the issue is in any way related to Proxmox or not.
(Replicating the issue on a supported OS, not Proxmox, would also help.)

Truely, Cisco TAC can only "support" what Engineering has tested/QA'd/validated and is listed on the UCS HCL.

There is a "AHA" to request Proxmox support be added officially to the UCS HCL.
Work with your sales team to get your vote counted toward that "AHA".

Proxmox is Linux. Linux is well supported.
Proxmox will work despite not being on the Cisco HCL.

En...sounds easy but I have bad feeling telling TAC that "Proxmox is Linux which is well supported despite it is not on the HCL" if I ran into an issue...
