I am not sure what I have misconfigured but this only happens over the data center hosted FlexConnect controllers, any AP model. When I migrate an AP to the 9800 controller which is on code 17.3.3, the image always takes an hour to download to the AP...
Does anyone see any issue with this design using a 3-tier topology within OSPF single area 0? The core switch connects to the distribution layer via L3 port-channel over point to point OSPF.
I have a 618,000 sqft warehouse I need to upgrade wireless to. I'm limited with deploying 9120axi for this one. The survey shows moderate coverage for a -10dB barcode offset with 24 Motorola APs, which are currently at maximum transmit power. APs are...
I have option 43 configured on a Meraki Z3 router with a single VLAN 1 on it. It has reachability to the DNAC. I have cleared all crypto, nvram, and vlan data from the WLC and I still can't get the PnP process to start on the C9800-L-C. I followed th...
I have (2) 3802i deployed among 34 others and they are the only one's not showing Rx information. I have rebooted them with no resolution. I can see these two APs from other APs but not vice versa. Might anyone know if this is a bug? We are running 8...
Thanks Scott. It doesn't happen to a local 9800-CL. We do have Cisco IWANthough so my guess this could be the culprit that I need to investigate. Icould try upgrading remotely to a local controller but IWAN still comesinto play.I'll likely open a TAC...
A single AP. I can go one at a time it doesn't matter. I just change HA configuration on the AP tp point primary to the new 9800 controller. Pretty standard.
3802, 2802, even the 9120AXE. Using the Master/Save AP / Efficient imaging won't work because that only applies to existing joined access points. From migrating to a 5520 controller to the 9800 controller, each AP will have to download. However, eit...
Yes so the from the routers to core are point-to-point OSPF over L3 transit VLANs. From the core to the distribution, point-to-point OSPF via L3 port-channels. I have since deployed this with no issue. Thanks for the help.
