I am wondering if GLBP is supported on nexus 5500 I have 4 5548s I want to run glbp on but the feature is not listed to activate. version 5.2(1)N1(1a) I have features hsrp and vrrp but no glbp. According to what I read from Cisco you don't need special licensing for it. So why can I not activate the feature? a little more info. Po1 is my uplink to the core Po4 is my agg vpc peer. Ok so I have a question about back to back VPC configuration. I have a back to back VPC from core to agg layer so that I have 2 logical switches in my path. However I am seeing an issue on the agg layer. Traffic is traversing the VPC peerlink instead of being sent up to the core which is where the spanning-tree root is configured. I am using 5548 and 5596. both are running 5.1(3)N1(1a) According to VPC domain documentation, you want to issue the peer-switch command to ensure that both switches in the VPC domain are STP root these switches do not have the peer-switch command available.
