I have a new 6816x and 6824x and I would like to get a GUI front view of these. I use the DCNM device manager for nexus switches and CNA for lower end catalyst switches but neither of these seem to support the 6840x series.

Thanks for that command. It shows the fans at 60%. I guess they're just super noisy. The nexus design team should talk to the 2960 design team. Maybe they can work on that.
That was the issue. Apparently you can't do a trunk over a fex port. Although there are reports that it can work, it doesn't in my setup. Thanks for the help everyone.
