Do You happen to know how could I initiate a feature request for this? This is somewhat fishy that basically no embedded systems can be used with CBS350 802.1X because of this missing feature. If a switch supports 802.1X it should have this too.
Yeah, it was a good idea, thanks, but the CBS350 series has no IPDT. I'm starting to embrace the idea of a duct-tape solution: most or all embedded devices need to be pinged every few minutes so that the replies will keep them connected.
Just one more note: you are on a 10G interface on the CBS, it would not accept non 1G/10G modules like 100Base-FX compatible modules and they do not support 10/100/1000Base-T modules, simply because supported speeds do not match with the 1G/10G capab...
Hello,There is no such command (service unsupported-transceiver) on CBS switches and on earlier Cisco Small Business generations. They do support what you plug into them and it usually works well, you can use HP, Huawei, Mikrotik whatever SFP modules...
