Hi there,I'm looking for any explanation for RA Guard policy, switch role vs router role difference. I couldn't find any document about this and more importantly, i'm not sure whatever set this roles on WLC or ESXI ports.Thanks.
Here is a OSPF topology without a individual router that specifically runs a area 0. I couldn't find an example like this with Google search, so hopefully it works for someone that searchs kinda design. Best regards.
Hi there, i'm learning BGP slowly nowadays and one thing that i don't understand from security perspective is using another IP with same MAC address.
So here is a simple and basic config
R1 F0/0 >---< F0/0 R2192.168.0.1 ...
I suggest you to consider these sites for permit only in TCP seassions that initialized from inside to outside. Whatever the default rules you have, using explict rules feels more secure.
You are correct but while learning, resources never mentions this trick. The good thing, there is no need extra one router to complete area 0 link availability.
