You do not state what the carrier wants for protocol/framing/linecode. If you are not configured ust as they are it could explain what you ae seeing. This could also be caused by modems, cabling and media conversion.

The AbbrDial soft key will not show up if the phone is on speaker, off hook or in headset mode off hook. It only shows up when on hook and a number key on the phone has been pressed. Rubes
