Thank you Balaji,Do you mean the port under the console port on the back? If so should I plug directly into the port from my laptop?

I also tried to use TFTP method but the switch can only ping the default gateway, the PC is connected to a flat 3750 switch with the IP of 10.0.0.153 this is not pingable from the switch and the switch can not ping the PC but can ping default gateway...
