Thanks Jorge. I got that on cat OS loopback is not configured, instead sc0 is configured.I'm still having concern about 'logging source -interface'. How to check on 6509-SE if 'logging source -interface' is configured or not.

Thanks for quick response.I'm trying to check ICMP traffic by checking config & not seeing any command configured for icmp traffic.as per my knowledge ICMP traffic is routed through the security appliance comes under security issue not routing issue....
