i guess un taring and manually moving the files was not good enough, by default the upgrade happened on the SDCARD and the FPGA update ran just fine.
i used: archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://172.16.60.250...
i got it to boot up using the old ios, i am going to try this and report back. i previously tried untar and move the IOS and the jeeves files manually and that did not work, let me give this a shot.
