Greetings. Basic question here --- I have two 6500 Core switches setup with HSRP, however, they are not VSS. They are two separate switches. Downstream I need to connect two Nexus 9k's.
My plan:
On the Core side, two ports in chassis 1 setup as a LA...
I have two 9500's in virtual stackwise setup. Stackwise links are twe1/0/27 and 28. When I plug the 40Gb cable into 1/0/27 on switch 1, I get the following errors from console:

Hello, In preparation for a Nexus upgrade, just thinking through, as the upgrade process occurs on both the primary and secondary switches, what scenario could cause the Top of Rack switches to lose connectivity. Assume that all ToR switches are dual...
Hello all, Does anyone know what the average failover time is for hosts dual-connected to a pair of Nexus 9k's (vPC configuration)? I recently upgraded four Nexus 9k's, one at a time, and found some hosts had lost connectivity for about 6 seconds dur...
Hello, I'm going to be upgrading some Cisco N9K's to current gold-star code. They're currently setup in VPC configuration. I've upgraded Nexus switches before, but i'm just wondering if the switches being in VPC configuration would have any impact. C...

One more thing for clarity - on the Nexus side I would have two links from Nexus 1 going to Core 1 and two from Nexus 2 going to Core 2 - just basic LACP port-channels, correct?
Thanks Perkin. I have a scheduled maintenance window, so downtime is allowed. So you recommend just reloading both chassis at once via "redundancy reload shelf", correct?
Asking the group...Once boot variable is changed, config-register is changed, config is saved and it is time to reboot --> should I just reboot the entire VSS (both chassis') with redundancy reload shelf, or one at a time? Thanks,Shameer
