Which link attributes in additon to bandwidth are used for constraint based path computation in MPLS TE?

We are looking to deploy Cisco Works in our network. We have around 2000 nodes/objects in the network. I would like feedback as far as which OS is better for this application, UNIX or Windows? Please provide pros and cons of either platforms. Thanks.
