yeah, I figured this was the way I had to go. I just wanted to avoid spending $100 and having yet another headset to deal with. It's a shame that these phones won't work with a standard headset, as the 7920 did (with a little modification).
Starting in version 4 is video support. Under the IPC device in CCMadmin, toward the bottom of the page, should be a setting for "Video Capabilities" or something. Make sure it is enabled, then restart the IPC phone.
