We have a pair of C9500-40X running IOS-XE 16.9.3 in stackwise virtual mode. We need to upgrade them to a later, supported and stable version. They are providing some important data centre connections which are dual homed to both switches in the stac...
We have two 6500s. One is running in power redundant mode and the other is running in combined mode.We need to change the one running in combined mode to redundant mode to ensure it can run ok on one supply if needed but I have a couple of questions....
Does anyone know of any bugs in 6500 Sup720 code 12.2(33)SXH7 for stuck VTY sessions? We ended up having to reboot a dual supervisor Sup720 as we had a stuck VTY session.A telnet session didn't disconnect cleanly and I couldn't clear it either with ...

Thanks everyone for the comments and advice. The switches have been up for 4 years. If we do a cold reboot of both switches in the stack before we start the upgrade process, will that remove the risk of the upgrade failing due to the private bug you ...
Hi,I see that this question was asked quite some time ago but I have come across the same issue, i.e when the server is on the outside interface the ip in the "PORT" command from the client is not translated.Did you ever get a fix for it?Thanks
Forgot to say, switching to the other supervisor cleared the stuck VTY but as the two cards wouldn't sync the config I had to reload both of them anyway to fix that.
