C1841 fa0/0 up when unplug LAN cable

When I unplug LAN cable from interface fa0/0 why interface still up but protocol down ? It is default ? or we can set ?Thank you in advance.

Can we implement only SRST for IPP without CUCM,if we need only basic call fuction ? Because of the budget, so if we have enough budget can we install CUCM later for more function?

No busy tone in voice gateway router during line busy.

I used c3845 IOS 12.4 with fxs connect to analog phone. Why no busy tone in voice gateway router during line is busy ?Its like the fxs card or router not provide busy tone but for ring back tone is normal.

I used pri E1 with h.323, C3845 and CCM 6.0 after completed setup I tested call from PSTN to E1 number, I can't hear ring back tone but far site telephone ringing.After far site pick up ringing,he can not hear I talk but I hear he talk verything.Whi...
