I am upgrading the CM to 4.2 from 3.3. I know the database has changed between these two versions. Is there any one who has created a script to convert the phones and users into the new format or am I missing something easy here?
Tried to and came to a authentication screen on the phone after the service was installed. couldnt figure out what the system wanted so I moved on for now will revisit this soon , let me know if you get this working
I know for sure there is a license tool on call manager 5 or 6 system dropdown on the admin page that will let you fill in what phones you have and then how many licenses you need. dont know of any other, did you do a search on cisco.
