I figured it out. I checked the Gateway after you guys mentioned it and found that I didn't have a DG setup. Can someone please explain how the DG plays an important role in the setup I have?

It is up. All interfaces are up up. I double checked now to make sure. FYI: I can ping from router 1 to router 4 without any issues. I can also ping from router 3 to router 1 and router 4.
