Thanks Deepak. I have refenced the doc but it does not reference security settings for Exchange 2013, only on 2007. And then I do not see anywhere to change the setting on the UCCX email configuration.

David, it is my mistake. I was not connecting in full console mode. Once I do this all obviously works as expected (mstsc -v:ip address /F -console.) Thanks for your interest!
