i have cucm 12 and cuc 12 , i have configured an auto attendant on the unity with call handlers , the problem is after calling the auto attendant from the pstn the caller input isnt getting detected while it is detected when calling from inside i get calls from the pstn through a sip trunk from the isp provider cucm>>siptrunk>>sip server i read somewhere some people fixed it by doing these commands on the voip peers but the problem i dont have a cube dtmf-relay rtp-nte sip-kpml

i have cucm 12 and i have configured all phones when calling outside pstn through sip trunk to show a certain number in the DID range for like 23334000 but whenever it callls outside it shows 23334444 which also another number in the customer DID range , so where does the fault lies here? is it from my side or the sip trunk service provider side?

thx for the great reply , but please can you explain further the points below? -"Setup an A record for that IP in your external DNS, that should match the host name configured on the listener" A record should match what listener? you mean the iron port or what exactly? -Turn of rules that allow SMTP to the Exchange box. "where do i do that?" -is the PTR necessary?

thx but my question is what changes needed to be done to make incoming emails from outside come to the ESA instead of the exchange? do i need to just change the MX records like set it to esa.mydomain.com instead of exchange.mydomain.com?

thank you alot for helping , the server is set up on a MCE the problem i cant log in to the server , i type in the ip then the server name shows up , i click on it then nothing it keeps loading , i just need to get info and backup as the customer is upgrading the cucm but it seem the server is in deep trouble , please help me on how to do that?
