Can anyone please give me the power consumption of any C9500 and C9300 switches. Also, Cisco ISR 4331/K9Cisco ENCS 5412 I know there are lots of models but I'm looking for a rough idle figure. The Max power spec isn't realistic for this purpose.
Can anyone suggest how you would mirror the logs of your switch without turning on both TX and RX (so not to generate duplicate entries) ?I am monitoring RX packets which doesn't include the local switch logs, which I want to capture also !
Hi, router configured with PIM stops streaming after several minutes. Access switch has client connected.
Can anyone suggest some common reasons why this may happen ?
Thanks
Hi, a quick question:

Hi Georg, sure, but I am after some rough figure, and not the Max power. I'm hoping someone out there has measured the power draw for similar reasons of my own. Cisco ISR 4331/K9Cisco 9300 24Y4CCisco 9500 24Y4CCisco ENCS 5412
Thanks Marce, I did find the C9300 running values but unfortunately they didn't do the same testing for the C9500.That table 1 doesn't give actual power figures. Kevin.
Ok, I have worked it out.All you have to do is create two layer three interfaces (or switch virtual interfaces) and connect them together. The RX monitor interface is one of them and the same interface is the set as the 'logging source interface'.Mak...
Hi Nipun, I know the detail is sometimes important but I really don't want to answer lots of questions. I am asking for common reasons for multicast traffic to works initially and then to stop after a few minutes.
I noticed that it was using incomi...
