C9500 and C9300 Power consumption

Can anyone please give me the power consumption of any C9500 and C9300 switches.

Also,

  1. Cisco ISR 4331/K9
  2. Cisco ENCS 5412

I know there are lots of models but I'm looking for a rough idle figure.

The Max power spec isn't realistic for this purpose.

 - FYI : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-9300-series-switches/nb-06-cat9300-ser-data-sheet-cte-en.html

                        Check Table 21

                        Check Table 1

Thanks Marce,

I did find the C9300 running values but unfortunately they didn't do the same testing for the C9500.

That table 1 doesn't give actual power figures.

Hello,

what are you looking for exactly ? The actual power consumption (other than the max value) is pretty much impossible to determine, and depends largely on switch utilization. If e.g. all your switchports are patched and active and passing traffic, power consumption will be higher than if the switch is idle (off/night hours)

Hi Georg,

sure, but I am after some rough figure, and not the Max power.

I'm hoping someone out there has measured the power draw for similar reasons of my own.

  2. Cisco 9300 24Y4C
  3. Cisco 9500 24Y4C
  4. Cisco ENCS 5412
