Is there a local file on the 3005 that keeps track of connections. Mgmt doesnt want to spring for a syslog server, we are a small shop. I can find the event log, but it only holds 256 events nd we get an event ever few minutes. Thanks
Anyone know of a way that one can telnet to the same pix that the vpn tunnel is established on. The telnet(interface) x.x.x.x command asks for an interface and address. My vpn pool addresses reside on the pix not out an interface.Thanks

Thank you for you assistance. I tried all but to no avail. I finally reimaged(IDSMk9-a-3.0-1-S4-5.xxx) the IDSM blade via ftp and applied the 3.0(6) S42 sp update via ftp and I am now able to telnet into the sensor blade.
