The fan speed is impacted not only by the chassis sensor but also by the optical module sensor. You can check the temperature by `show interface transceiver detail`. But anyway, it looks more like a software bug. I suggest you try upgrading.
Try a common workaround for the fan speed bug:conf thardware fan-zone 1 raise-speed 255no hardware fan-zone 1 raise-speed 255This appears to be a bug. You may want to upgrade to the latest software version that still supports this hardware.
