We are using jabber 12.1.1 with call manager 10.5.2.13901-2.
Jabber screen sharing is working fine, however the grant control feature is greyed out.

there is an application user in call manager which contains all your devices that are allowed to be used in finesse logons... you will see SEPxxxx phones are added you need to add the users jabber phone to this list CSF* or in our case CSFusername......
you say some days, are these busy times? is it reaching the call control group limit? check for errors in rtmt for application aborted messages in the syslog
