What is the benefit of antenna on the MR46E over the MR46. Do the Antenna on MR46E improve range over the MR46?

Looking at Boosting the signal on an MX68CW but the Antenna aren't removable, unlike the MX67C that is also used in the network. Is there any way to remove the Antenna so an external Antenna can be used?

Just had a call with the supplier at the other end, the config was right the IP addressing for both encryption domain and VPN peer were wrong as I'd been sent the old IP's and not the IP for the new servers. Once updated all worked. Thanks
