Cisco IP Communicator and Asterisk

I have a Cisco IP Communicator (SIP) v 7.0.2 using SIP with Asterisk. It is remotely connecting to an Asterisk PBX server (not on my LAN) with a TFTP server. It get stuck at "Registering" - and gets the configuration files fine. Any suggestions?

Will the WLC4402-12-K9 work with the AIR-LAP1042N-A-K9 and Catalyst WS-C2950G-48-El? WLC4402 -> FastEthernet0/5 (Catalyst 2950) -> AIR-LAP1042N-A-K9 (Plugged into FastEthernet0/6 on the Catalyst 2950)
