On a Cisco 3550 IOS switch. When I run the show configuration command, I get "error opening nvram" Or the device hangs. Show run works ok. What could be causing that problem?

This solved the problem for me. I just needed to enable ssh with the aaa command.

I had this problem. I'm using SolarWinds TFTP Server. I changed the file path from TFTP-Root to OpenTFTPServer and it worked!
