I am looking for a solution to simulate real traffic on Nexus 3048, which are UDP/TCP traffic. Some engineer says the switch can simulate it, but I doubt it. Is it true a switch can simulate layer 4 traffic?

Thank you so much, Francesco. I mean if I should use RS232 serial port to connect to a modem? I need to use a phone number to dail in as the out-of-band access to the switch. Best Regards,Vinson
